The Divemaster course includes the following modules.
1. Knowledge Development
Time is spent in the classroom and through home study to ensure that you have a high level of knowledge in the following areas:

Supervising diving activities

Assisting students in training

Risk management

The business of diving
Diving theory (physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory and environment
2. Water Skills and Stamina
Much time is spent in the confined water developing those all-important diving and rescue skills. This module also ensures that you have the appropriate watermanship and stamina necessary for a diver working in a leadership capacity.
3. Practical Application
This module allows you to put into practice the knowledge and skills that you will use as a working PADI Divemaster. Under instructor supervision, you will organise and guide divers through a number of scenarios including:

Course Details
Prerequisites: Rescue Diver with at least 40 logged dives (60 logged dives required prior to certification), current diving medical and current first aid.
Cost: $1450.00 (includes tuition, all required materials, PADI registration fees, tank and weightbelt)
